Our converted lace works building in Nottingham's historic Lace Market brings together independent workers, micro-businesses and small teams in spaces that actually work for modern business. The original industrial features - exposed brick, high ceilings, large windows flooding the space with natural light - create an atmosphere that beats any corporate office. We've built Works Social around flexibility. Members choose from virtual office services, dedicated desks, or team spaces depending on what their business needs. The ground floor meeting room fits 8 people comfortably, while our top-floor studio handles groups of 12. For larger gatherings, presentations or informal events, we can accommodate up to 35 people with flexible seating arrangements. The shared facilities make daily work life easier - fully equipped kitchens where you can grab coffee or prepare lunch, shower facilities for those who cycle in or need to freshen up before evening events, big screen TVs for presentations, and yes, we have a bar for after-work drinks or networking events. All our event spaces come with AV equipment included, and we can arrange refreshments for your meetings or workshops. Previous clients particularly appreciate our central location with easy public transport access, though they've mentioned city centre parking can be pricey. They've praised our bright, modern rooms and helpful staff, noting the space works brilliantly for collaborative sessions. The catering consistently gets positive feedback - we make sure there's plenty of good food when ordered. Some have mentioned we could use more toilets during busy events, which we're aware of. The address you gave us was incorrect, your email stated 1 Commerce Square when in fact it was number 16, we ended up being late and it didn’t look good for the clients we were meeting

Location – very central and easily accessible via public transport. Only downside was nearby parking was a bit expensive, but in the city centre that’s to be expected.
