The Chapel Bar started life as an actual chapel, and we've kept just enough of that history to make things interesting. These days, the congregation is more likely to be toasting birthdays than singing hymns, but those high ceilings still create incredible acoustics—whether for your wedding speeches or Friday night DJ sets. By day, we're Islington's go-to for working lunches and informal meetings. Natural light pours through the original windows, the WiFi actually works, and our baristas know the difference between a flat white and a cappuccino. We've got all the practical stuff sorted—screens for presentations, a proper kitchen for catering, air conditioning that keeps the space comfortable year-round. When evening rolls around, the whole atmosphere shifts. Our mixologists take over the bar, the lights dim just enough, and that outdoor terrace comes into its own. It's sheltered and heated, so even questionable British weather doesn't spoil the party. We've hosted everything from 40th birthdays that got slightly out of hand to corporate launches that needed to impress tough crowds.
