The Everyman Theatre Liverpool welcomes over 400 guests into our distinctive thrust stage configuration, where audiences surround performers on three sides. We've designed this space to bring people closer to the action – whether that's a corporate presentation, wedding ceremony, or comedy night. Our 405-seat auditorium works brilliantly for different event formats. The thrust stage creates natural sightlines that make keynote speeches feel conversational and product launches more engaging. We've hosted everything from academic lectures to live music gigs in this space, and the wraparound seating means every guest feels connected to what's happening on stage. Our technical capabilities include professional projection systems, full sound and lighting rigs, and flying equipment for theatrical effects. Our in-house technical team handles all the setup and operation, so you can focus on your event content. We've made the entire building accessible with wheelchair spaces throughout the auditorium, hearing loops for those who need them, and lifts serving every floor. Since winning the 2014 RIBA Stirling Prize for architecture and World Architecture News Best Performance Space award, we've become a landmark on Hope Street. But we're proudest of how the building serves Liverpool's creative community. Local artists develop work here, conference organizers choose us for important industry gatherings, and couples exchange vows on our stage. The thrust configuration transforms traditional presentations into immersive experiences. During conferences, speakers can move through the space and engage with different sections of the audience. For weddings, the three-sided seating creates an intimate ceremony setting where every guest has a clear view. Our technical team adapts the lighting and sound for each event type, from subtle uplighting for receptions to full theatrical effects for performances.
