Our community hall at Elders Voice on Mortimer Road has been bringing people together in Kensal Green for years. The main hall stretches 10.5m by 6.6m, giving you plenty of room whether you're running a fitness class with up to 50 participants or hosting a seated workshop for 40. We've kept the original piano in the corner - it gets plenty of use during music sessions and adds character to the space. The soft seating areas make it comfortable for support groups and educational courses, while the open floor plan works perfectly for movement classes and hobby clubs. We've equipped the kitchenette with everything groups typically need: a hot water urn for tea breaks, microwave, fridge, and even a dishwasher so cleanup is straightforward. The Rainbow Room next door (8.5m x 4.1m) serves as a quieter breakout space or can be used as a private office area during weekday rentals. Getting here couldn't be easier - we're right next to Kensal Green Station, literally a one-minute walk. If you're coming by car, we have five parking spaces in our small car park, and on Saturdays there's plenty of on-street parking available. The shops and cafés of Kensal Rise are just seven minutes away on foot. Everything's accessible via our wheelchair-friendly entrance, and we maintain accessible toilet facilities throughout. Wi-Fi is included, along with heating, electricity, and water. The space feels bright thanks to natural light from the windows, and being tucked into this quiet residential area means you won't deal with street noise during meetings or classes. Weekday hire runs £40 per hour, weekends £45 per hour - we find this works well for regular groups and one-off events alike.
