Right in the heart of Newcastle, Clavering House sits just minutes from Central Station and the metro. We're the meeting venue that doesn't feel like a meeting venue – there's character in these walls that sets us apart from the usual business spaces. Our rooms work brilliantly for groups up to 40 people, whether you're running training sessions, conducting interviews, or brainstorming your next big project. Each space stays cool thanks to proper air conditioning (a godsend in summer), and we've kitted them out with everything you actually need: reliable Wi-Fi that doesn't drop out halfway through presentations, conference phones that work first time, and AV equipment that our reception team will happily help you set up. The river views from our windows regularly stop people mid-sentence – they're quite something. Our approved caterers know what they're doing too; the feedback we get about the food is consistently brilliant. "Bright and airy" is how most guests describe the atmosphere here, though "superb location" runs a close second in the compliments stakes. We've thought about the practical stuff: there's a designated smoking area outside, full accessibility throughout, and our reception team who've seen it all and can solve pretty much any last-minute crisis. Brilliant venue- lovely bright room with fab equipment. Just what we needed. Catering was lovely that the venue ordered in for us and the unlimited tea/coffee/biscuits was nice too :) Staff are really friendly and helpful - definitely will use this venue/site again!
