The Sir George Bradshaw room sits on the ground floor of our main house, where original Victorian features blend with practical meeting facilities. Natural light pours through large windows overlooking the hotel grounds, and when you need a breath of fresh air, the doors open directly onto our gardens, perfect for those coffee breaks between sessions. We've hosted everything from board meetings to training workshops in this flexible space. The warm beige walls and classic carpeting create a professional yet comfortable atmosphere, while the chandelier and carefully chosen artwork add character without distraction. Air conditioning keeps everyone comfortable year-round, whether you're running a summer strategy session or winter planning meeting. The room adapts to your needs, accommodating 50 delegates theatre-style for presentations, 24 around the boardroom table for focused discussions, or 32 in cabaret layout for interactive workshops. For more formal occasions, we can arrange private dining for up to 40 guests. The U-shaped configuration works particularly well for training sessions with up to 26 participants. Named after one of Audleys Wood's early residents, famous for creating the Bradshaw railway guides, this room carries a sense of history while meeting all modern requirements. The ground floor location makes access straightforward for all attendees, and being part of our Victorian mansion means your meeting takes place in surroundings that inspire rather than intimidate. Our venue sits just outside Basingstoke with easy M3 access, making arrival simple for delegates coming from London, Reading or Southampton. Free parking removes one more worry from your day.
