This intimate space within The Oakfield mansion combines period features with everything your modern meeting requires, all while overlooking the verdant grounds beyond. The room's character comes from its original architectural details: ornate wood paneling catches the morning light, while a central chandelier and period wall sconces provide warm illumination throughout the day. Those large sash windows, dressed in floral drapes, frame views of our gardens and allow natural light to fill the space. The plush patterned carpet underfoot adds both comfort and acoustic benefits during long sessions. We've arranged the space to work flexibly for different group dynamics. For formal board meetings, we can seat 20 around the table. Theatre-style presentations accommodate up to 40 delegates, while classroom layouts work perfectly for training sessions with 6 participants. The U-shaped configuration also seats 6, ideal for workshops where interaction matters. For evening functions or special occasions, the room transforms beautifully for banquet-style dining with 20 guests. Our venue provides complimentary Wi-Fi throughout, and there's no charge for parking. The building's Grade II listed status means your delegates meet surrounded by authentic Victorian architecture, yet with all the contemporary amenities expected.
