Our smallest boardroom creates surprisingly productive sessions when your team needs focused discussion space. The Rome Room's 17.3 square meters work brilliantly for groups who prefer closer collaboration around our oval glass table, where up to 10 people can spread out their laptops and still maintain eye contact during those crucial decision-making moments. We've painted one wall in soft sage green and hung a collection of Edinburgh photography that guests often study during coffee breaks. Natural light streams through the windows throughout the day, though we've installed proper blinds for when you need to darken the room for presentations. The LCD projector connects easily to most devices, and we keep a flat-screen TV ready as backup because technology hiccups happen at the worst times. The room handles different configurations depending on your needs. Most groups stick with the boardroom setup for 10, but we can arrange classroom style for training sessions of 5, theatre seating for presentations to 20, or U-shape for workshops with 8 participants. Air conditioning keeps everyone comfortable during intense brainstorming, and we always stock fresh flipchart paper and markers alongside standard delegate stationery. Being in Edinburgh's Old Town means your attendees can walk from Waverley Station in about 15 minutes, or grab the number 2 bus that stops right outside. The Royal Mile sits just up the hill, and Princes Street shopping is a 10-minute stroll away, useful when people need supplies or forgot their phone charger. Our catering team delivers refreshments directly to the Rome Room, from morning pastries and proper coffee to working lunches featuring Scottish salmon or vegetarian options.
