The grand gold-framed mirrors catch your eye first, then you notice how the afternoon light plays across the ornate moldings. This was the Duchess of Rutland's private bedroom, and we've kept that sense of intimacy while making The Bennet-Clark Room work brilliantly for modern gatherings. From the elegant oval table, you'll look out through floor-to-ceiling windows onto our gardens with Green Park stretching beyond. It's particularly lovely in autumn when the leaves turn, though spring brings its own magic when the gardens come alive. The fireplace adds warmth to winter meetings, while summer events often spill through the interconnecting doors into the adjoining Rutland Room. We've configured this space countless ways over the years. For boardroom meetings, we seat 14 comfortably around the table, with those classic chairs that encourage long, productive discussions. Private dinners work beautifully here too, with the mirrors reflecting candlelight and creating an atmosphere you simply can't replicate in modern venues. Standing receptions flow naturally, accommodating up to 25 guests who tend to gravitate between the windows and the fireplace. The practical elements are all here, discretely integrated. Wi-Fi runs throughout, the projector and flatscreen TV tuck away when not needed, and our PA system handles everything from background music to presentations. The real advantage comes from those interconnecting doors, when clients use both rooms together, one for dining, one for dancing, or simply to give guests space to move between conversations. Getting here couldn't be simpler. Green Park Station is a pleasant five-minute walk through the park itself, and we're surrounded by some of London's finest hotels and landmarks. Once inside, you're in a different world entirely, where history enhances rather than constrains your event.
