Those wicker swings catch everyone's eye first when they step into the Mezzanine at Hummingbird Glasgow. We've suspended them from the ceiling alongside our regular seating, creating a playful atmosphere that sets the tone for the entire space. The room sits on our upper floor, away from the main bar buzz but still connected to all the energy that makes our Bath Street venue special. We designed this space for groups who want their own corner of the party. The low tables and plush couches that line the walls work perfectly for birthday celebrations where 30 friends can move around freely with drinks in hand. For more intimate gatherings, we arrange seating for 15 guests who prefer a sit-down format. The warm lighting bounces off our textured walls and wooden floors, creating that golden-hour glow that makes everyone look good in photos. The hanging chairs become conversation starters every time. Groups love claiming them early in the evening, cocktails in hand, swaying gently while catching up. Our bartenders deliver rounds of Disco Balls and Pornstar Martinis directly to the Mezzanine, so your party never has to pause. The space works brilliantly for hen parties who book it alongside our karaoke pods, using the Mezzanine as their base between singing sessions. Corporate groups have discovered this room works just as well for relaxed networking events. The layout encourages mingling while the separate location from our main floors provides enough privacy for conversation. Birthday parties often start here with welcome drinks before exploring our other floors, including the Glitter Lounge downstairs.
