The Event Space at Custom Lane transforms from an empty canvas into whatever your imagination demands. Our 90 square metre room in Leith's riverside district gives you complete control over your event's atmosphere, whether you're planning an intimate gathering or a bustling celebration. Floor-to-ceiling windows pour Edinburgh daylight across polished concrete floors, creating a gallery-like setting that works brilliantly for everything from art exhibitions to cocktail parties. We've kept the white walls deliberately minimal, so your decorations, lighting, or projections become the star. The space comfortably holds 80 guests for drinks and mingling, or we can arrange seating for 60 if you prefer a more structured format. Our technical setup covers all the essentials: reliable Wi-Fi keeps everyone connected, while our projector and sound system handle presentations or background music with ease. Bringing in a DJ? The acoustics work beautifully for live music, and we're fully licensed if you want to serve drinks. The open floor plan means you can configure the space exactly how you need it, from theatre-style rows for performances to scattered high tables for networking events. Getting here couldn't be simpler. We're right by the Water of Leith, with free parking along the street and ground-level access throughout. Our wheelchair-accessible facilities ensure everyone can join the celebration comfortably. For catering, you've got options.
