The Victorian Hall's grand stone staircase makes quite the entrance, curving dramatically beneath soaring skylights that bathe the space in natural light. We've hosted countless celebrations here, from intimate wedding dinners to buzzing cocktail receptions, and each time the classical architecture works its magic on our guests. Those intricate plaster casts you'll notice aren't just decoration, they're authentic friezes and metopes from Ancient Greece, giving your party an artistic backdrop you won't find anywhere else in Manchester. The high ceilings create wonderful acoustics whether you're planning speeches, live music, or simply want conversation to flow naturally across the room. We can accommodate 100 guests for drinks and canapés, or seat 40 comfortably for a formal dinner. The space transforms beautifully depending on your needs. Recent wedding couples have danced beneath the skylights until midnight, while corporate clients have used the same floor for product launches and networking events.
