The Exchange transforms from Edinburgh's former agricultural trading floor into whatever your celebration demands. We've hosted everything from 2,000-guest music festivals to intimate wedding receptions in this remarkable space, with its soaring ceilings and original architectural details creating an atmosphere you won't find in modern conference centres. Our largest event space accommodates up to 3,000 standing guests, though we regularly configure it for smaller gatherings too. Corporate clients appreciate the built-in PA system and multiple projection screens for presentations, while wedding parties love how the dimmable lighting shifts from bright afternoon ceremonies to moody evening receptions. The high-speed Wi-Fi handles hundreds of simultaneous connections, essential when your guests are sharing every moment. Working with this historic room means understanding its character. Natural light pours through the original windows during daytime events, illuminating the period features that make the space so distinctive. Come evening, our lighting technicians work their magic, using the dimmer system to highlight architectural elements or create pools of intimate light around banquet tables.
