The cigar smoke from our shop below sometimes drifts up, which we understand isn't ideal for everyone's meeting needs. We're part of the City of London Cigar Shop building at 124 Middlesex Street, London E1 7HY, and while we do our best to manage ventilation, the heritage of the building means some of that tobacco atmosphere can linger. Our meeting room sits on the upper floor, away from the main shop activity. We've set it up with everything you need for productive sessions - high-speed WiFi keeps everyone connected, and the large TV makes presentations straightforward. The privacy glass means your confidential discussions stay that way, even with the bustle of Spitalfields Market nearby. Getting here couldn't be easier - just a 2-minute walk from Liverpool Street Station means your team can arrive without the usual London transport hassle. Once you're here, you'll find on-site toilets so there's no need to leave the building during breaks. We've had feedback about our air conditioning being a bit noisy and the room running cold. Our staff are always happy to adjust the temperature settings, though we'll be honest - the system has its quirks. We recommend bringing an extra layer just in case. The space works well for business meetings, workshops, and brainstorming sessions. While we maintain everything to a high standard and keep the room clean and well-presented, we want to be upfront that this is a working building with its own character. If you're looking for a straightforward, functional meeting space with good transport links and don't mind a hint of old London atmosphere, we'd be glad to host your next gathering.

Nothing on the website indicated that this meeting room was actually part of the city of london cigar shop , subsequently the room stank of cigar smoke. The rooms air con was also noisy and the room was cold even after the very obliging staff had adjusted it.
