About Lister Place
Right around the corner from Haymarket station, Lister Place has become my go-to spot for hosting client workshops. The building houses six distinct meeting rooms, and I love how each one has its own character—no cookie-cutter corporate vibes here. The tech setup is solid: proper Wi-Fi that actually works, interactive whiteboards that don't require an IT degree to operate, and screens that make presentations pop. What really sold me though? You can bring your own food (or get it delivered), and they're totally cool with dogs. My team's border collie has basically become our unofficial mascot at strategy sessions. One client mentioned after our last workshop that they'd never felt so relaxed in a meeting space—high praise from a notoriously tough crowd. The building strikes this nice balance between Edinburgh's historical charm and practical modern workspace needs. The venue was perfect, it had everything we needed and more. The facilities are great and I’ll definitely be using the room again, great value too. The staff were so helpful too and it was in an ideal location.
