About Conway Hall
At Conway Hall, we've been hosting everything from intimate meetings to grand weddings since 1929. Named after anti-slavery advocate Moncure Daniel Conway, our Grade II listed building sits just minutes from Holborn Underground Station, making it easy for your guests to find us in central London. Our Main Hall remains the heart of the venue—those distinctive wood panels have witnessed everyone from Muddy Waters to George Orwell. With space for up to 400 guests and acoustics that musicians particularly love, we find it works brilliantly for weddings, concerts, and conferences alike. We've installed four HD cameras throughout, so you can record or livestream your event without bringing in extra equipment. For smaller gatherings, our Brockway Room upstairs gets wonderful natural light and holds 80 people comfortably. The Library, with its book-lined walls, creates an inspiring backdrop for meetings of up to 60. Our Bertrand Russell Room works perfectly for board meetings or workshops with 35 attendees. We've made sure the entire ground floor is wheelchair accessible, including our accessible toilets. Our team regularly receives praise for keeping the rooms bright and airy, and guests often mention they appreciate the authentic character of the building—it's not your typical corporate venue. Fashion shows love our Main Hall's natural runway setup, while rehearsal groups appreciate the acoustics. Wedding parties tell us they enjoy having multiple spaces to move between during their celebration. Our central location means guests can easily pop out to nearby Holborn during breaks.
