The Chamberlain Room sits on the first floor of our Victorian building, where Joseph Chamberlain himself once held meetings as Birmingham's mayor. Those ornate ceiling moldings and grand chandeliers have presided over city decisions for over a century, and today they create an impressive backdrop for your board meetings and presentations. When you step inside, you'll notice how the warm terracotta walls complement the rich wooden furnishings, while natural light streams through tall arched windows dressed in floral drapes. The room overlooks Victoria Square, giving your attendees something pleasant to gaze at during those longer sessions. We've arranged the space to accommodate 22 people comfortably around our boardroom table, though we can reconfigure for theatre-style presentations for up to 45 guests, or host 40 for a formal dinner. The plush carpeting helps with acoustics, which matters when you're discussing confidential matters or presenting to clients. We've installed all the technical equipment you'd expect, including Wi-Fi throughout, a projector and screen for presentations, and a PA system that ensures everyone can hear clearly, even from the back row. The lift provides easy access for all attendees, and the powder rooms are just along the corridor. Our venue sits right in Birmingham's civic quarter, making it convenient for attendees coming from different directions. The Town Hall tram stop is literally on our doorstep, and those arriving by train can walk here from New Street Station in about ten minutes. Several car parks operate within a five-minute walk, and most local taxi drivers know exactly where to find us when you mention Victoria Square. The Chamberlain Room works particularly well for strategy sessions, client presentations, training workshops, and private board meetings where you need both gravitas and practicality.
