The ground floor of our studio at 22 Prince of Wales Road opens up into a bright workspace where architectural models share shelves with design awards and project photographs. We're vPPR Architects, and since 2009, our team has been creating bold architectural solutions from this base in Kentish Town, London. Our practice was founded by Tatiana von Preussen, Catherine Pease, and Jessica Reynolds, and we've built our reputation on bringing clarity to complex sites while keeping community and sustainability at the heart of every project. The office space itself reflects how we work - open plan areas encourage collaboration between team members working on everything from urban masterplans to private houses, cultural venues to commercial developments. Natural light floods through our windows as architects sketch initial concepts that will eventually become RIBA London Regional Award winners. We've arranged the workspace to support both focused individual work and the creative exchanges that happen when designing spaces meant to inspire others. Our approach prioritizes shared spaces and flexibility - principles we apply both to our own office and the buildings we design. From here, we develop projects that repurpose existing buildings, incorporate green energy solutions, and integrate landscaping with built form. The office serves as our laboratory for testing ideas about how spaces can foster creativity through artist collaborations and adaptable layouts. Housing Design Awards line our walls, reminding us daily of our commitment to environmental sustainability and community-focused design. Working from Kentish Town gives us easy access to project sites across London while maintaining the creative energy that comes from being part of this vibrant neighborhood. Our women-led practice continues to push boundaries in architecture, using this space as the foundation for designs that transform complex urban challenges into clear, sustainable solutions.
