Step through our doors at Flora Indica on Old Brompton Road, and you'll find yourself surrounded by Harris tweed banquettes, antique brass fixtures, and botanical prints that tell the story of Scottish explorers in 19th-century India. We've transformed this Chelsea space into something quite special for parties and celebrations, where Victorian curiosity meets modern Indian cuisine across two distinctive floors. Our ground floor catches the afternoon light beautifully, with space for 30 seated guests or 50 standing around the lounge bar. Head downstairs to discover the Engine Room - that's what we call our lower-ground dining area where exposed brickwork and warm teak create an intimate atmosphere for up to 50 seated or 80 standing. Those original Victorian vaults? We've tucked two private dining booths into them, each perfect for groups of six who want their own corner of the celebration. The bar runs the full length of the ground floor, stocked with our collection of botanical gins and cocktails we've developed specifically for the space. Our house beer comes from Portobello Brewery just down the road. For parties, we create custom menus that showcase what our kitchen does best - taking classic Indian dishes and reimagining them with British seasonal produce. Whether you're planning cocktails and canapés, a seated dinner, or our weekend brunch complete with bottomless Champagne, we work with you to match the food and drink to your celebration. We've hosted everything from corporate gatherings to birthday parties, engagement celebrations to reunion dinners. The monthly-changing tasting menu has become a favorite for groups who want to experience multiple dishes together, while our East-meets-West afternoon tea brings something unexpected to more traditional celebrations.
