Our Conference Room brings together centuries of history with everything your modern meeting requires. A vintage world map dominates one wall, providing an inspiring backdrop for strategic discussions and planning sessions, while natural light pours through the distinctive arched windows that frame views of our grounds. We've furnished this space with a substantial wooden table and comfortable black leather chairs, creating a professional environment where up to 14 colleagues can gather around the boardroom table. The warm wooden flooring and carefully chosen lighting create an atmosphere that keeps everyone focused yet relaxed throughout long working sessions. For presentations, we've mounted a flat-screen TV that makes sharing ideas straightforward, whether you're running through quarterly figures or showcasing new proposals. The heavy drapes at each window give you complete control over lighting levels, particularly useful during screen presentations or when the afternoon sun streams in. The room adapts easily to different meeting formats. While most groups prefer the boardroom setup, we can arrange banquet seating for 16 guests when you need a more social configuration, or create a U-shape layout for 12 participants during training sessions and workshops. Reception-style arrangements work well for informal networking, accommodating up to 16 people. Our location, minutes from Chester city centre with direct access from the M56, means colleagues can reach us easily while still enjoying the peace of our historic setting. The 17th-century architecture provides a unique atmosphere that guests consistently praise, with one recent visitor describing our meeting facilities as "lovely and bright with plenty of natural light" and commending our helpful staff. WOW! What a wonderful venue. The meeting room was lovely and bright with plenty of natural light. Tastefully decorated. The staff were superb and extremely helpful. The hotel and spa was a wonderful addition for the guests. Highly recommended.

Great location for a productive company meeting - quiet, peaceful and free of distraction. Only suggestion would be for fans or air conditioning in the meeting room as there was no possibility to open windows and the room got a little stuffy after lunch. Good service an...
