Our Roof Terrace sits suspended beneath Foster + Partners' remarkable barrel-vaulted glass ceiling, where the curved architecture creates an almost weightless feeling above the museum galleries. Through the glass walls and ceiling, daylight floods the space throughout the day, shifting as clouds pass overhead and casting dynamic patterns across the modern furnishings. We've configured this contemporary space to seat 150 guests theatre-style, with chairs arranged to face our central stage area. The sight lines work particularly well here, every seat offers clear views for presentations or panel discussions. Our AV setup includes projector, screen, full sound system and microphones, all integrated seamlessly into the space without disrupting the clean architectural lines. The approach to the Roof Terrace adds to its appeal, guests cross a dramatic bridge to reach the space, which immediately sets it apart from typical meeting rooms. Once inside, the combination of sleek surfaces and that soaring glass vault overhead creates an atmosphere that feels both sophisticated and energising. We find the natural light keeps attendees alert during long sessions, while the glimpses of the galleries below provide subtle visual interest during breaks. Air conditioning keeps the temperature comfortable year-round, despite all that glass, and we've ensured full disabled access throughout. The space adapts well to different configurations beyond theatre-style, we regularly rearrange for workshops, networking sessions and smaller group discussions. Both Lambeth North and Waterloo stations are within easy walking distance, making arrival straightforward for guests coming from across London.
