The Hide transforms from refined dining room to intimate party space three floors above the lively pub below. Rich leather seating in deep burgundy tones creates cosy corners for conversation, while pendant lights cast a warm glow across the soothing blue walls. Our collection of mounted bull heads and colourful artwork gives the room its distinctive character, sparking stories and setting the mood for memorable gatherings. We've designed The Hide to adapt to your celebration style. For seated dinners, we arrange tables for up to 32 guests banquet-style, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of hosting friends in your own dining room. Standing receptions flow naturally through the space, accommodating up to 50 guests who mingle between the main room and our dedicated bar area, where exposed brick meets warm lighting. The bar stays stocked with wines from our own Hush Heath vineyard alongside craft beers and speciality spirits. Our team serves everything from elevated pub classics to refined seasonal dishes, working with British suppliers who share our commitment to quality. The Sonos sound system lets you set your own soundtrack, while our projector and screen handle presentations when needed, though we find most parties here focus on good food and conversation. Being steps from Liverpool Street Station on pedestrianised Devonshire Row means your guests arrive relaxed, avoiding the usual London traffic. Many groups begin with drinks in the ground floor pub, letting early arrivals settle in among the regulars before heading upstairs to their private space. Others book our boutique bedrooms above, extending celebrations without worrying about last trains.
