The Turnham Room sits above the main pub at The Crown and Anchor, where large windows frame views of Turnham Green below. We've hosted countless celebrations in this upstairs space, from 50th birthday parties that spill onto the private bar to wedding receptions where guests dance on the polished wooden floors until closing time. Rich burgundy leather seating lines the walls, creating intimate corners for conversation, while the central fireplace becomes a natural gathering point during winter events. We can arrange the furniture to suit your plans, whether that's rows of chairs for 45 guests watching England play on our screening facilities, banquet tables for 30 at a sit-down dinner, or clearing the floor entirely for 60 people at a cocktail reception. The private bar means your guests never queue for drinks, and our bartender stays dedicated to your event throughout. We've noticed corporate groups particularly appreciate this during their Christmas parties, when they can control the music through our sound system and keep the atmosphere exactly as they want it. Birthday parties often start with champagne toasts by the windows before evolving into karaoke sessions that test the room's excellent acoustics. Getting here couldn't be simpler, with Turnham Green station just across from us on Chiswick High Road. Many wedding parties have told us they chose The Turnham Room specifically because elderly relatives could easily reach us by tube, and parking along the residential streets behind rarely poses problems for those driving.
