At its heart lies the Jerwood Hall — a beautifully intimate space accommodating a wide range of events. With adaptable staging and seating, the hall holds up to 414 guests at ground level, including 98 in a stylish balcony. It’s an established venue for rehearsals, chamber recitals, world music and pop/rock concerts, and equally well-suited for meetings and conferences of up to 250 delegates.
When cleared, the hall transforms into an elegant setting for gala dinners (up to 220 guests) or standing receptions (up to 425 guests). The floor space measures 21m x 19.5m, providing ample room for creative event layouts. The Crypt Café adds to the experience, accommodating up to 200 guests for pre-dinner drinks or networking receptions, helping create an exclusive and memorable occasion.
The venue’s original brickwork remains intact, with discreet acoustic banners enhancing flexibility for various sound and performance needs. Glazed windows bring in natural daylight while ensuring soundproofing; electronic blinds enable blackout conditions for immersive, multimedia-rich events.
