The Court Room at Vintner's Hall transports you to an era when Charles I held court, though these days your guests will appreciate the air conditioning alongside the 17th-century wood paneling. We've hosted everything from champagne receptions to milestone birthday dinners in this intimate space, where portraits of both Charles monarchs watch over proceedings from their gilded frames. Rich mahogany panels rise to meet ornate chandeliers, their warm light playing across the intricate wood carvings that frame our working fireplace. The painting of St. Martin Dividing his Cloak adds a thoughtful touch above the mantel, often becoming a conversation starter during drinks receptions. We can arrange the room for 35 around our boardroom table, seat 50 for a formal dinner, or clear the floor for standing celebrations where guests mingle beneath the crystal chandeliers. Our events team works with you to create the right atmosphere, whether that's long tables dressed with crisp linens for a wedding anniversary or cocktail tables scattered throughout for a product launch. The large windows flood the space with natural light during daytime events, while evenings take on a more intimate glow. Our in-house kitchen prepares everything from canapés to three-course dinners, with halal, kosher and vegan menus readily available.
