We've designed the Purdey & Steed rooms at South Place Hotel to be the chameleon of event spaces - transforming effortlessly from boardroom to banquet hall to dance floor, depending on what you need. These two rooms, named after the iconic Avengers characters, work beautifully as separate spaces or open up into one flowing 114-square-meter venue. The south-facing windows run floor to ceiling, flooding both rooms with daylight that changes throughout the day. We've kept the décor deliberately neutral with warm wooden floors, so your event styling takes center stage. Behind the paneled walls, we've tucked away everything practical - a private cloakroom for coats and bags, plus all the tech connections you might need. For corporate meetings and presentations, our built-in media hub handles any device you bring, with a drop-down screen and projector ready to go. The touch panel controls let you adjust the lighting mood instantly, while electric blackout blinds give you complete control over the ambiance. Our complimentary Wi-Fi handles heavy usage, and the air conditioning keeps everyone comfortable year-round. We regularly host seated dinners for up to 100 guests here, with round tables creating an intimate atmosphere despite the room's generous size. For cocktail receptions and networking events, we can accommodate 200 people standing, with plenty of space for mingling between the two interconnected areas. Wedding ceremonies work beautifully in this light-filled space, and we've seen some spectacular dance parties once the tables are cleared. Located between Moorgate and Liverpool Street stations, we're easy for guests to reach from anywhere in London.
