When Ed Sheeran needed a Birmingham location for his project, he chose The Compound. Our 12,000-square-foot former textile factory in the Jewellery Quarter has become the go-to creative space for everyone from Microsoft to Warner Brothers, and we're pretty proud of what we've built here. Walking through our doors, you'll find yourself in a space where 35-foot ceilings soar above exposed brick walls, creating an atmosphere that's both industrial and inspiring. We've kept the building's original character while adding some unexpected touches - like our 25-seat underground cinema tucked away beneath the main floor, and a speakeasy bar that feels like it belongs in 1920s Birmingham. Our space works across multiple levels connected by bridges and mezzanine floors, giving you plenty of options for your meeting or party setup. The main floor offers wide-open areas perfect for exhibitions and corporate gatherings, while our three self-contained living spaces provide more intimate settings for creative meetings or breakout sessions. The art studio adds another dimension for workshops or team-building activities. We've equipped The Compound with everything you need for a successful event. Full vehicle access means you can bring displays, equipment, or installations straight inside. Our kitchen comes fully equipped for catering needs, and Wi-Fi coverage extends throughout all 12,000 square feet. Whether you're planning a product launch, film screening, pop-up event, or company party, we can configure our spaces to match your vision. Working with creative professionals and corporate teams over the years, we've learned how to make this former factory feel like whatever you need it to be - from a cutting-edge conference venue to an unforgettable party location.
