The moment you step through our Victorian doors at The Birmingham & Midland Institute, you're walking into 170 years of Birmingham's intellectual heritage. We've been hosting meetings, conferences and cultural gatherings in this Grade II* listed building since 1854, and our walls have witnessed countless debates, discoveries and decisions that have shaped the Midlands. Our meeting spaces range from the intimate Charles Dickens Hall, where 80 delegates can engage in focused discussions, to our crown jewel—the Lyttelton Theatre. With its original features and capacity for 240, it transforms corporate conferences into something rather special. We've equipped all our rooms with modern AV facilities and complimentary Wi-Fi, because while we cherish our history, we understand today's meeting requirements. The BMI Coffee Lounge serves fresh meals and refreshments throughout your event, prepared by our in-house team who know exactly when that afternoon coffee break needs to arrive.
