Über The Anthologist
Here at The Anthologist, we like to think we've cracked the code on what makes a proper London venue. Just off Bank station, we've carved out something a bit different from the usual corporate haunts that dominate this part of town. Our chef's table has become somewhat legendary (if we do say so ourselves), and the two cocktail lounges each have their own personality—one's all moody lighting and leather, the other bright and buzzing. The private spaces? They're like little worlds unto themselves, each with its own story to tell. We've sorted all the practical bits—kitchen that actually works, speakers that don't crackle, Wi-Fi that doesn't drop out during presentations. The air conditioning is a godsend in summer, and yes, we're properly accessible. Our breakout areas have saved more than a few corporate sessions from death by PowerPoint. Mixology masterclasses are our current obsession (the team got rather good during lockdown), but we're equally at home hosting wedding parties or those slightly chaotic team dinners where Dave from accounting finally lets loose.
