Toy dinosaurs watch from the walls as you enter Ninetyeight Bar & Lounge on Curtain Road, right in the heart of Shoreditch. We've transformed our space at number 98 into something that feels more like stepping into someone's wildly imaginative living room than a typical London bar. Zebra prints clash wonderfully with Victorian furniture pieces, while our spray-painted chairs add splashes of unexpected color throughout the rooms. Our cocktail menu reflects the playful spirit of the space. We shake up drinks like the Candylife - where we blend strawberry puree and yogurt with Haribo sweets and vodka for something genuinely sweet and fun. The Green Lady brings together gin, fresh cucumber, apple, cucumber liqueur and a hint of pepper for those who prefer their drinks with a botanical edge. Each cocktail arrives as its own small performance, matching the whimsical surroundings. The real conversation starter is our bandage room upstairs. We've wrapped absolutely everything - walls, furniture, fixtures - in white bandages, creating this surreal cocoon that's perfect for private parties. Corporate groups book it for cocktail parties that feel nothing like typical work events, while artists use it for exhibitions and launches. Birthday parties here tend to be memorable affairs, with guests discovering new peculiar details throughout the night.
