Our product design studio on Vyner Street has room for a small team looking for workspace in East London. We're Makers Cabinet, the design company behind precision drawing tools like the Høvel pencil sharpener and Iris compass, and we've got desk space available for up to four people who'd appreciate working alongside fellow creators. The studio sits right in Cambridge Heath, about 10 minutes from Bethnal Green, Hackney Central, Victoria Park, and Broadway Market. You'll be sharing the space with our design team who craft heirloom-quality drawing and writing instruments—it's a working environment where traditional craftsmanship meets modern product development. Your desk space includes full building access, fast internet, and use of our Epson printer. We've also got a prototyping workshop and photo studio on-site that you can book separately when you need them. The monthly rate of £1,000 plus VAT covers everything—bills, rates, and servicing—so you can focus on your work without worrying about extra costs. Beyond the day-to-day, we host community events like our Repair Shop, where skilled artisans fix broken items while live music plays and everyone enjoys refreshments. It's part of our commitment to sustainability and skill-sharing, creating an atmosphere where makers support each other. The space works particularly well for designers, craftspeople, or small creative teams who value quality and sustainability in their work. Off-street parking is available if you need it. We're looking for people whose work aligns with our ethos of thoughtful design and making things that last.
