The first thing you'll notice walking past Lord Wargrave on Brendon Street is the sweet smell of hickory smoke drifting from our kitchen - we're the only pub in Marylebone with our own in-house smokehouse. Just minutes from both Edgware Road and Baker Street stations, we've become known for our St. Louis pork ribs that spend hours over British hickory logs until they're falling off the bone. Our bar stretches along one side of the pub, showcasing over 200 whiskies from Scotland to Japan, Kentucky to Ireland. We love helping guests discover new favorites, whether you're a whisky enthusiast or just starting to explore. The space itself feels like a proper London pub should - warm wood, traditional features, and room for 50 seated guests or up to 120 standing when we clear the tables for parties. Everything we smoke comes from free-range, local farms, and we've put just as much thought into our plant-based options. Our vegan burger and spicy tater tots have converted more than a few meat-lovers. The craft beer selection changes regularly, featuring breweries from across the UK and beyond. For private events, we transform the space to suit your needs. Birthday parties often start with our famous dry-rubbed meats and sides served family-style, then we push back the tables so everyone can dance. Christmas parties tend to take over the whole pub, with guests moving between the bar, dining areas, and our outside seating. We've got our own sound system and TV screens for presentations or slideshows, plus a private bar setup for larger groups. Whether you're planning a relaxed wedding reception, office celebration, or just gathering friends for whisky and ribs, we handle groups with the same care we put into smoking our meats - low, slow, and with attention to detail.
