Our whisky hotel on Christopher Street brings something different to East London's meeting scene. We've transformed five floors of space near Finsbury Square into a versatile venue where business conversations flow as smoothly as our drinks. The heart of Black Rock beats in our basement bar, where an 18-foot oak tree trunk from 1839 commands the room. We use this magnificent centerpiece as both a communal table for meetings and an aging system for our cocktails—it's quite the conversation starter when you're hosting clients. Our collection spans over 250 whiskies, arranged in cabinets by flavor profile rather than region. Whether your guests prefer something balanced, fragrant, sweet, fruity, spicy, or smoky, we make selection straightforward. For corporate groups, we run Tuesday Tastings where distillery ambassadors share their craft and stories directly with your team. Our Blending Experiences work brilliantly for team-building—we guide groups through creating their own whisky blends to bottle and take home. The space itself draws from Japanese minimalism, with clean lines and warm wood, while our carefully curated hip-hop playlist keeps the energy contemporary rather than stuffy. Beyond the basement, we've got two additional bars across our five floors, each serving cocktails, beer, and wine alongside our whisky selection. The second floor houses two bedrooms for overnight guests or speakers who need accommodation. Our intimate setting works particularly well for board meetings, client entertainment, product launches, or team celebrations where you want something more engaging than a standard conference room. We handle groups from small leadership teams to larger tastings, with our staff managing all the details while you focus on your objectives.
