Gold leaf catches the morning light through our floor-to-ceiling windows, transforming the Ballroom into something quite magical when Hyde Park spreads out before you. We've watched countless celebrations unfold here across 243 square meters of restored Edwardian grandeur, where original architectural details meet the kind of comfort modern events demand. Those chandeliers overhead? They're the originals, casting patterns across 24-carat gilding that our restoration team spent months perfecting. The blue and gold carpeting was chosen specifically to complement the warm tones when daylight streams in, though by evening, the room takes on an entirely different character under dimmed lighting. We can arrange tables for 250 dinner guests comfortably, with plenty of space between for service staff to move gracefully. For cocktail receptions, we've hosted up to 400 people who tend to flow naturally between the main space and our private garden terrace. The terrace doors open completely in good weather, doubling your entertainment space with Hyde Park as the backdrop. Two separate entrances give you options: our Knightsbridge entrance works perfectly for corporate events where guests arrive throughout the evening, while the Royal Entrance onto Hyde Park creates quite an impression for wedding parties or gala arrivals. Both lead directly to the Ballroom without passing through the main hotel areas. Transport couldn't be simpler with Knightsbridge station just minutes away, and we find most London guests know exactly where to find us. Our events team coordinates every detail with Heston Blumenthal's kitchen, whether you're planning a product launch dinner or anniversary celebration.
