The Court Room embodies everything we love about hosting celebrations at our venue. Step through the doorway and you're immediately drawn to the King Louis XV Gobelin tapestries flanking our grand fireplace, their intricate weaving catching the light from two magnificent late-18th century chandeliers overhead. We often find guests pausing to admire the portraits of the Duke of Wellington and Lord Nelson that grace our walls, each painted by masters of their time. Red leather seating runs along the wood-panelled walls, creating intimate conversation areas where your guests naturally gather during cocktail hours. At 14.6 metres long and 6.9 metres wide, the Court Room comfortably accommodates 100 guests for standing receptions, making it perfect for pre-dinner drinks or evening celebrations. For seated events, we can arrange 60 guests for banquets, 80 in theatre style, or 35 in cabaret layout, each configuration taking advantage of the natural light streaming through our generous windows. What makes this space particularly special for parties is its direct connection to the Livery Hall. Many of our clients use the Court Room as their dance floor, bringing in our staging and sound system to create the perfect party atmosphere. The flow between spaces works beautifully, guests moving seamlessly from dinner to dancing as the evening progresses. Our location, just minutes from Bank, Liverpool Street and Moorgate stations, means your guests can easily join you from across London.
