Summer evenings in our garden have become something of a legend among Edinburgh event planners, and once you step through the French doors from our conservatory, you'll understand why. The Roseate Garden transforms throughout the day, from morning light filtering through mature trees during corporate gatherings to fairy lights twinkling above wedding toasts as dusk settles over the West End. We've watched countless celebrations unfold here, from relaxed barbecues where guests mingle on the lawn to formal seated dinners for 40 beneath our elegant canopies. The wooden benches with their plush cushions have hosted everything from bridesmaids' laughter to board meeting coffee breaks, while our round wicker tables create intimate spaces for conversation. When the weather turns, as it sometimes does in Edinburgh, our covered areas keep the party going without missing a beat. Our private garden bar has become the heart of many events, its warm fairy lights creating an enchanted atmosphere as bartenders pour from our collection of fine Scottish whiskies and local craft gins. For standing receptions, we can welcome up to 80 guests who naturally flow between the bar, seating areas, and open lawn spaces. Corporate groups particularly appreciate the privacy, just five minutes from Haymarket station and under 20 minutes from the airport. The garden blooms differently each season, with vibrant flowers in summer and rich autumn colours creating ever-changing backdrops for photographs. Our catering team brings Scottish ingredients straight from the kitchen to your guests, whether that's canapés during a drinks reception or a full barbecue feast. With WiFi extending throughout the space and our alcohol licence running until 11pm, every practical detail has been considered, leaving you free to focus on your guests and celebration in this unexpected Edinburgh oasis.
