The Ground Floor wraps around the narrowboat Coronis, creating party spaces that flow between canal history and your celebration. We've kept the original exposed brick walls from our Victorian ice warehouse days, while the 1960 Wickham tractor and colourful canal exhibits become unexpected conversation pieces between your guests. This adaptable space works brilliantly for different party styles. We can arrange it for 150 guests mingling with drinks, transform it into theatre seating for 50, or create an intimate banquet setting for 30. The heritage industrial features, from weathered brickwork to authentic canal machinery, give your party genuine character that sets it apart from typical London venues. Your guests can spill out onto our canalside outdoor area until 22:00, where the water creates a peaceful contrast to the energy inside. Some hosts arrange canal boat arrivals at our private mooring, turning the journey into part of the celebration. The combination of indoor and outdoor spaces means your party naturally ebbs and flows throughout the evening. We've installed projector, flatscreen TV and PA system for speeches, presentations or party playlists, while maintaining the atmospheric feel of the original warehouse. The space is fully accessible throughout, and just minutes from King's Cross St. Pancras Station by foot, making it easy for guests arriving by tube, train or bus. You're free to bring your own caterers and alcohol, giving you complete control over your party menu and bar.
