The afternoon sun hits the wire chairs on our terrace just right, casting geometric shadows across the wooden decking while guests sip cocktails and take in views of Bath's honey-coloured stone buildings. Our Terrace Bar transforms throughout the day, from morning coffee meetings to evening celebrations, with glass doors that slide wide open to merge the sleek indoor bar with the outdoor space. We've hosted everything here from book launches to birthday parties, with up to 60 guests flowing between the bar and terrace. The contemporary furniture pieces were chosen specifically to encourage conversation, whether you're perched at the bar counter or gathered around the outdoor tables. During summer months, the terrace becomes particularly popular for drinks receptions, while winter sees guests gravitating towards the warm glow of the indoor bar's ambient lighting. The space works brilliantly for informal gatherings where you want a relaxed atmosphere without sacrificing style. Corporate teams often book the Terrace Bar for after-work celebrations, and we've seen plenty of pre-dinner drinks before wedding receptions in our main event spaces. The natural light flooding through those large glass doors creates an energetic daytime atmosphere, while evenings bring a more intimate feel with carefully positioned lighting both inside and out. Being right in Bath's centre means your guests can easily reach us from Bath Spa station, and many appreciate being able to explore the Roman Baths or Bath Abbey before joining their event.
