The Library windows frame our parkland perfectly, those tall panes draped in deep red curtains that catch the afternoon light just right. We've watched countless celebrations unfold here, from champagne receptions spilling onto the lawns to dinner parties that run late into the evening, guests lingering over coffee as candlelight dances across the ornate ceiling moldings. This room works beautifully for so many different occasions. We can arrange round tables for 150 guests, each dressed in crisp linens, creating intimate spaces within the grander setting. The patterned carpet softens footsteps and conversation, while those high ceilings give everything a sense of occasion without feeling overwhelming. When summer arrives, we open the doors directly onto the manicured lawns, and suddenly your party flows between inside and out, guests wandering with drinks in hand as the sun sets over our 25 acres. The Library connects seamlessly with our Morning Room, Great Hall, and Tapestry Room, so larger celebrations can spread naturally through the building. We've seen wedding cocktail hours start here before dinner in the Great Hall, and corporate events use the space for breakout sessions between main presentations. Berry Blue, our catering team, knows exactly how to work these rooms, whether they're serving canapés during a drinks reception or a full three-course dinner. Getting here from Bristol couldn't be simpler, and we have plenty of free parking waiting. The whole estate becomes exclusively yours for the day, no other events, just your celebration filling these historic rooms. Our event coordinators handle the practical details, from audio-visual setups to furniture arrangements, leaving you free to enjoy your party in a space where Georgian grandeur meets genuine warmth.
