The bright yellow chairs catch your eye first when you step into The Yard, our 350-capacity outdoor space that started life as the factory's original loading area. We kept the Victorian brick walls and industrial ironwork, then added a retractable roof that means your summer wedding won't get rained off and your Christmas party stays cosy with our outdoor heaters. The dedicated Yard Bar runs the full length of one wall, serving everything from craft beers to cocktails while your guests spread out across the wooden picnic tables or gather around the BBQ area. We've hosted everything here, from 200-person corporate presentations using our built-in PA system and flatscreen TVs, to intimate wedding receptions with 170 seated for dinner under festoon lighting. The staging area regularly hosts live bands and DJs every weekend, though it works just as brilliantly for award ceremonies or company presentations with our full AV setup. The space transforms completely depending on what you need, whether that's theatre-style seating for 220 or keeping it standing-room for maximum mingling. Being in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter puts you five minutes' walk from both local stations, with plenty of indie shops and proper pubs nearby for anyone arriving early. The 1am alcohol licence gives you flexibility for late celebrations, while the Wi-Fi keeps your corporate crowd connected throughout their event. The industrial bones of this space, those original brick walls and the open-air feel even with the roof closed, create an atmosphere you won't find in a standard function room. Add in the BBQ smoke, ambient lighting as the sun sets, and the buzz from the bar, and you've got a venue that handles quiz nights as confidently as wedding receptions.
